NOPEC is a nonprofit energy supplier in Ohio that provides competitive energy cost savings to residents and small businesses through a buy-in-bulk approach. You may reach them at 855-667-3201.
Residents that are not already enrolled in NOPEC can easily sign up for NOPEC's electric or gas programs by contacting NOPEC's 24/7 Customer Care Center at 855-667-3201.
An Important Message from NOPEC
“For any customer that may have opted-out of the aggregation, and now wishes to enroll, these customers should contact the NOPEC Customer Care Center at 1-855-667-3201 (which operates 24/7). The customer will need to let the agent assisting them know that they previously opted-out of the program and now wish to reverse that request and enroll. Where possible, we will attempt to enroll the customer beginning with their June usage/July invoice but considering that the majority of enrollments have already been sent, there is the possibility that it may take 1-2 billing periods for the enrollments to take effect depending on when the enrollment is sent and when the utility accepts it and for what turn-on date that acceptance is for.”
RESIDENTS TO RECEIVE NATURAL GAS AND ELECTRIC AGGREGATION ENROLLMENT LETTERS
Eligible residents and small business owners will be receiving natural gas and electric enrollment letters for our community’s energy aggregation programs through NOPEC. Letters will begin mailing in early April for enrollment in the NOPEC electric program and mid-April for natural gas for the period beginning with customers’ June 2023 meter read dates.
If you want to enroll in NOPEC’s Standard Program Price, you don’t need to take any action when you receive your enrollment letter. You will automatically be enrolled. Additional information about the aggregation program and available rate options including fixed term, monthly variable pricing, and 100% renewable electric options can be viewed online at nopec.org/letter or by calling NOPEC’s Customer Care Center at 1-855-667-3201. If you don’t want to enroll in the natural gas or electric aggregation programs, you must return the opt-out form attached to your enrollment letter to NOPEC by mail or by fax to 440-774-4422 by the date indicated on your letter.
