The traffic-congested section of Ridge Road in Brooklyn will see brief relief before the second paving phase begins next month on the busy thoroughfare.
The former is tied to the modernization of Ridge Road traffic signalization efforts with Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA) currently finishing up its implementation of the STOP (Signal Timing and Optimization Program) program from Pearl Road to Denison Avenue.
“The timing (devices) on the traffic lights has been installed,” Brooklyn Mayor Ron Van Kirk said.
