Yes, and it needs to adhere to the following:

  1. The (Building Department approved) fence shall have a minimum height of 4 feet.
  2. It shall completely enclose the surrounding pool area.
    1. Note: a building or existing wall may be used as a part of such enclosure.
  3. Gates or doors opening through such fence/enclosure shall be of self-closing and self-latching construction and shall be designed to permit locking and shall be kept locked when the pool is not in actual use, or is left unattended.
