No. The court is presided over by the Magistrate who decides the cases.
The court date is noted on the bottom right hand corner of the citation. For any other questions regarding a court date, please contact the Clerk of Courts office by calling 216-635-4255 or 216-635-4245 during the hours of 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.
Everyone is entitled to one continuance. The fee for a continuance is $5. Deadline for continuance is Tuesday by 4 pm prior to your court date. This fee can be paid in cash only.
You must appear at the Clerk of Courts office located at 7619 Memphis Avenue and sign a form requesting a continuance. Once you receive a continuance, your court appearance is now mandatory.
